Moro kilta!
Brändityöryhmän työ uuden nimen pohtimisen saralla on edennyt siihen pisteeseen, että haluamme saada tämän vuoden puolella kiltakokoukseen ehdotuksen nimen vaihdosta. Tässä postauksessa esitellään nimenvaihdon ehdottamisen ja äänestämisen prosessi mahdollisimman rautalangasta vääntäen. Jos joku kohta mietityttää, viestiä voi laittaa esim @rantakal tai @mehikasvi tg:ssä
Prosessi etenee seuraavasti:

Nimityöryhmä on rajannut 5 parasta vaihtoehtoa nimikilpailun sadosta. Ne esitellään toisessa forumpostauksessa perusteluineen.

Vajaan viikon kuluttua eli 18.10.2021 klo 12 avataan äänestys, jossa jokainen kiltalainen voi laittaa nimivaihtoehdot mieluisuusjärjestykseen. Äänestyksessä on käytössä siirtoäänet ja äänestysformsissa on selostettu tarkasti kuinka äänestys tapahtuu. Äänestys on käynnissä 31.10.2021 klo 23:59 asti.

Nimityöryhmä ehdottaa hallitukselle eniten ääniä saanutta nimeä

23.11.2021 järjestettävässä 2. vaalikokouksessa on kohta, jossa ehdotetaan nimen vaihtamista. Tässä vaiheessa voidaan äänestää ehdotetun nimen ja jonkun muutosesityksen (esim. ei vaihdeta nimeä) välillä.

Jos 2. vaalikokous kannattaa nimen vaihtoa, toisen kiltakokouksen tulee vielä vahvistaa päätös.
Eli nyt TE saatte äänestää siitä, mitä uutta nimeä killalle ehdotetaan. Sen jälkeen TE saatte äänestää kiltakokouksessa kyseisen nimen hyväksymisestä.
Aika jännittäviä aikoja elellään brändityön osalta. Nyt on myös aika hieno mahdollisuus jokaisella vaikuttaa siihen, miltä kilta tulevaisuudessa näyttää ja kuulostaa. Keskustelu asiasta viriää varmaan pyytämättäkin, mutta tuokaa kaikki rohkeasti oma mielipiteenne esiin killan chateissa, forumeilla, tapahtumissa yms. Kiltakokous on tässäkin asiassa ylin päättävä elin. Kannattaa siis tulla paikalle antamaan äänesi!!!

Our work in the brand group has advanced to the point where we want to propose a new name to our guild. We aren’t yet sure which name to suggest and we would like to listen to everyone’s opinion concerning the change.
This post describes how the process of proposing a new name will go. The candidates for a new name are written with reasons why they would or wouldn’t be good. If there’s something that concerns you in this process, don’t hesitate to ask questions from @rantakal or @mehikasvi or anyone you know from the brand group.
The process in a nutshell:

The name team has decided 5 candidates from the competition. They can be seen in the other forum post

On monday the 18th of October a vote between the candidates will begin. In the vote, a guild member can put the names in their favorite order. The voting rules are explained in the voting form. Voting is open until midnight of the 31st of October

The name team suggest the most voted name to the guild board

At the second election meeting on the 23rd of November, the guild can vote if the new should be elected as the guild’s official name. The meeting will decide on the outcome of our project.

If the meeting favors changing the name, a second guild meeting is required to confirm this decision.
So, now you have the chance to discuss these name candidates with your friends and then vote for the best candidate. The guild meeting also needs your voice and your vote!!!
