Rakkaat, olen Mikhail ja haen vuoden 2025 puheenjohtajaksi ja hallituksen muodostajaksi.
Kuka?
Olen kolmannen vuoden AR-opiskelija ja tämän vuoden Stikkerisälli. Persoonaltani olen hyvin positiivinen, avomielinen, täsmällinen ja ymmärtäväinen. En jätä tehtäviä viime hetkeen, enkä pelkää ilmaista mielipiteitäni. Mielestäni on tärkeää tärkeää, että puheenjohtajalla on selkeä näkemys siitä, mitä pitää tehdä, mutta samalla hänen on kyettävä kuuntelemaan muita ja ottamaan risteävät mielipiteet huomioon. Mielestäni minulta löytyy kaikki yllä mainitut taidot ja ominaisuudet, minkä takia sovin hyvin puheenjohtajan rooliin.

Fuksina tipahdin hieman kiltatoiminnasta, minkä vuoksi aloitin varsinaisen urakkani vasta vuosi sitten hakemalla opintomestariksi. Silloin hain rooliin vain hienon nimen vuoksi, mutta jälkeenpäin olen ollut erittäin tyytyväinen tähän päätökseen ihan eri syistä. Alle vuoden sisällä olen ehtinyt järjestää killalle omat collegepaidat, perustaa juoksukerhon sekä toteuttaa kaikkien aikojen vastatuimman opintokyselyn. Lisäksi olen tehnyt paljon näkymätöntä työtä, kuten osallistunut lukuisiin kokouksiin koulun henkilökunnan kanssa. Kaikki tämä on opettanut minulle paljon organisoinnista ja neuvotteluista, samalla tuoden varmuutta omaan tekemiseeni sekä näyttäen, että mikään ei ole mahdotonta.
Miksi minä?
Viime vuonna heittäydyin itselleni täysin tuntemattomaan rooliin, mutta tänä vuonna tilanne on erilainen, sillä nyt tiedän, mitä odottaa ja minkälaisia vastuita tulen kantamaan, jos minut valitaan tähän rooliin.
Viime vuodet kiltaa on mielestäni pyöritetty erittäin hyvin, ja haluan jatkaa tätä perinnettä. Killalla on ollut viimeiset pari vuotta selkeä suunta ja kehitys, jota haluan ylläpitää. Viimeisen vuoden aikana olemme myös pyrkineet vahvistamaan yhteyksiä korkeakoulun johdon kanssa, ja mielestäni tämä on ollut, ja tulee olemaan, hyvin tärkeää.
Killassa, jossa on kolme pääainetta, joista yksi on englanninkielinen, viestintä ja läpinäkyvyys ovat erityisen tärkeitä, jotta jokainen kokisi olonsa tervetulleeksi. Haluaisin parantaa hallinnon viestintää ja tuoda sitä lähemmäs kiltalaisia. En halua, että hallinto on jokin maaginen porukka, josta ihmiset ovat vain kuulleet huhuja.
Mielestäni parhaat tulokset saavutetaan, kun ihmisille annetaan vapaus toimia itsenäisesti. Aion antaa muille hallituslaisille vapauden hoitaa omia vastuitaan puuttumatta niihin ilman kriittistä tarvetta. Myös yhteistyö hallituksen sisällä on erittäin tärkeää, sillä yhdessä vaikeatkin asiat tuntuvat helpoilta.
TL;DR
Kilta on tarjonnut minulle loistavan yhteisön, jossa on ollut aina mukava olla mukana. Nyt on minun vuoroni antaa takaisin killalle ja rakentaa motivoitunut hallitus, jonka kanssa viemme AS:ää kohti entistä valoisampaa tulevaisuutta.

I’m Mikhail, and I’m running for the position of Chairperson and the Former of the Board for 2025.
Who am I?
I’m a third-year AR student and this year’s Master of Studies. By my nature, I’m very positive, open-minded, punctual, and empathetic person. I don’t leave tasks to the last minute, and I’m not afraid to express my opinions. It’s important that the Chair has a clear vision of what needs to be done, but at the same time, they must be able to listen to others and take their opinions into account. I believe I possess all these skills and qualities, which is why I am well-suited for the role of Chair.
Guild CV
As a freshman, I didn’t get very involved with guild activities, so I only truly began my journey a year ago by applying to be the Master of Studies. At the time, I applied simply because I liked the title, and I’ve been very happy with that decision for completely different reasons. In less than a year, I’ve managed to organize custom college shirts for the guild, establish a running club, and conduct the most responded-to study survey ever. I’ve also done a lot of behind-the-scenes work, such as participating in numerous meetings with the school staff. All of this has taught me a lot about organization and negotiation, while also giving me confidence in my abilities and showing me that nothing is impossible.
Why me?
Last year, I took on a role that was completely unfamiliar to me, but this year is different, as I now know what to expect and what responsibilities I’ll be taking on.
I believe the guild has been managed very well over the past few years, and I want to continue that tradition. The guild has had a clear direction and development over the last couple of years, and I want to maintain that. Over the past year, we’ve also worked to strengthen our connections with the school’s leadership, which I believe has been, and will continue to be, very important.
In a guild with three majors, one of which is in English, communication and transparency are especially important to make everyone feel welcome. I would like to improve communication within the board and bring it closer to guild members. I don’t want the board to be some magical group that people only hear rumors about.
I believe the best results are achieved when people are given the freedom to act independently. I will give other board members the freedom to handle their responsibilities without interfering unless absolutely necessary. Collaboration within the board is also crucial, as even difficult tasks seem easier when tackled together.
TL;DR
The guild has given me a great community where it’s always been nice to be involved. Now, it’s my turn to give back to the guild and build a motivated board with whom we’ll lead AS toward an even brighter future.
