Moikkuu!
Mä oon Maria, toisen vuoden IT-opiskelija. Kiltatoiminta on tullut tässä reilun vuoden aikana kohtuullisen tutuksi ISOilun ja minIEneilyn merkeissä, mutta nyt haluisin astua astetta ISOmpiin saappaisiin. Mulle meidän kilta on ollut hyvä ja turvallinen paikka tutustua teekkarikulttuurin, joten haluan päästä omalla toiminnalla vaikuttamaan siihen, että mahdollisimman moni saisi samanlaisen myönteisen kokemuksen. Uskon, että parhaiten pääsisin tähän tavoitteeseen ISOpomon roolissa.
Miks just ISOpomo?
Koen, että ISOjen rooli killassa on ihan älyttömän tärkeä kiltatoiminnan jatkuvuuden kannalta. ISOjen on omalla toiminnalla helppo saada fuksit innostumaan kiltatoiminnasta ja lähtemään hyvällä fiiliksellä messiin. On musta sanomattakin selvää, että ISOjen on viihdyttävä hyvin meidän killassa, jotta fuksitkin vois viihtyä. Onhan ISOt kuitenkin omanlainen roolimalli fukseille. Ja jotta ISOt taas viihtyisivät, on niillä oltava hyvä ISOpomo, joka ajaa niiden etua ja pitää huolen niiden jaksamisesta!
Itse ISOpomon pestissä mua kiinnostaa erityisesti sen ihmisläheisyys. Työssä kun työssä mulle tärkeetä on se, että hommia ei tartte tehdä täysin yksin. Nautin ihan tosi paljon sellasesta porukalla ideoimisesta, duunaamisesta ja uuden luomisesta. ISOpomona pääsisin tekemään yhteistyötä ASPUn kanssa ja varmistamaan, että tulevat fuksit saa vähintäänkin yhtä onnistuneen fuksivuoden, kun mitä mun oma fuksivuosi oli. Odotan myös innolla erilaisten tapahtumien järkkäilyä ITMK:n kesken. Niin kuin jo sanottu, ISOilu on tärkeetä hommaa ja kiitoksena siitä ISOt ansaitsee siistejä tapahtumia, niin oman killan kuin muidenkin kiltojen ISOjen kanssa.
Miks just mä?
Mun mielestä mä sopisin ISOpomoksi, koska oon järjestelmällinen, luotettava ja tunnollinen tekijä, mutta toisaalta myös empaattinen, reilu ja ainakin omasta mielestäni ihan hyvän huumorintajun omaava tyyppi. Mulle tärkeetä on, että hommat suunnitellaan huolellisesti heti alusta alkaen, jotta vältyttäisiin turhilta mutkilta matkassa. Kaikki työtehtävät pitää hoitaa kunnialla loppuun asti, mutta hauskaakin pitää olla. Tykkään ottaa ite aika paljon vastuuta, mutta toisaalta myös delegoimisen jalo taito on tullut elämässä tutuksi. Osaan siis pitää huolen siitä, että jaan vastuuta myös muille, enkä haukka liian suurta palaa kerrallaan.
ISOpomona haluaisin olla mahdollisimman helposti lähestyttävä niin ISOille, fukseille kuin muillekin kiltalaisille. Mulle olisi tärkeetä, että etenkin ISOt kokisi mut hyvänä tyyppinä ja sellaisena, jolle voi tulla pienellä kynnyksellä kertomaan kaikki huolet ja murheet, liitty ne ISOhommiin tai ei. Mulla on vahva luotto, että omalla toiminnallani pystyisin motivoimaan ISOja ja pitämään huolen siitä, että hyvä fiilis ja tekemisen meininki pysyisi yllä koko toimikauden ajan!

Miksi? Koska ISOt on tärkeitä ja jonkun on pidettävä niistä huolta!

I’m Maria, a second-year IT-student. Over the past year I’ve gotten to know the guild by being an ISO and part of the Entertainment Committee, but now I would like to step into slightly bigger boots. For me our guild has been a good and safe place to get to know the teekkari culture, so I’d want to make sure that as many people as possible have a similar positive experience too. I feel like the best way for me to aim this goal is by being an ISOboss.
Why ISOboss?
I feel that the role of ISO is incredibly important in the guild. It is easy for the ISOs to get the fuksis excited about the guild and encourage them to join the guild activities. I think it’s clear to say that our ISOs must feel good in our guild in order for the fuksis to feel good too. And ISOs, they need a good ISO Boss who takes care of them and their well-being.
I’m interested in the role of ISO Boss because it’s a role where you get to work with people which is important to me. I really enjoy working together with different people and creating something new as a group. As an ISO Boss I would be able to cooperate with ASPU and as a team we would make sure that the new fuksis get at least as good fuksiyear as I did. I’m also looking forward for organizing various different events with ITMK. As already said the guilds ISOs are very important and they deserve many cool events as a thank you and I want to be a part of making these events as great as possible.
Why me?
I think that I’d be a perfect match for the role of ISO Boss because I’m organised, reliable and conscientious worker, but also empathetic, fair and a person with a good sense of humour. It is important to me that things are carefully planned right from the start, in order to avoid unnecessary hassle on the way. All work tasks must be taken care of properly but it’s good to have fun while working too. I like to take on quite a lot of responsibility, but I’m also very capable of delegating things to others.
As an ISO Boss I would want to be as approachable as possible for ISOs, fuksis and other guild members. I’d want the ISOs to see me as a good person who is there for them in any matters. I have a strong belief that with my own actions I could motivate the ISOs and take care that the good vibes and positive mindset would be maintained throughout the entire time!
