Vaihteeksi totista totisempaa asijaa killan foorumeille.
Rakkaan kiltamme merkkiohjesääntö on jo pitkään ollut uudistusta vailla.
Työryhmän tarkoituksena on tehdä laajamittainen selvitystyö ja luoda kiltakokoukselle ehdotus uudistetusta killan merkkiohjesäännöstä.
Mutta miksi?
Lyhykäisyydessään helpottamaan tulevaisuuden toimijoita kiltalaisten palkitsemisessa. Killan merkkiohjesäännön kriteerit ovat tällä hetkellä ympäripyöreitä, ja työryhmien on vaikea tulkita mitä on “esimerkillinen toiminta killan tarkoitusperien hyväksi” Tarkan ohjeistuksen puutteen takia, merkkien jakamisen kriteerit eroavat vuosi vuodelta eri ansiomerkkityöryhmien tulkintojen mukaan.
Killan ansiomerkkien ulkoasun päivittäminen on myös työn alla, ja ansiomerkkejä suunnittelevan osaston voisi liittää agiilisti merkkiohjesääntötyöryhmän alle.
Haluamme kaavoittaa, mitä kaikkia uudistuksia killan merkkiohjessääntö tarvitsee, jotta se palvelee toimijoitamme tasapuolisesti tulevaisuudessakin.
Entä työryhmän rakenne?
Kaikki halukkaat ovat lämpimästi tervetulleita hiomaan killan merkkiohjesääntöä “minttiin”. Työryhmä tulee myös tekemään tiivistä yhteistyötä istuvan hallituksen kanssa. Rivikiltalaisten näkemyksiä tullaan myös huomioimaan erinäisten kyselyiden muodossa. Loppupelissä työryhmä tekee ehdotuksen, jonka kiltalaiset joko hyväksyvät tai hylkäävät kiltakokouksessa.

Our beloved guild’s badge guidelines have long been in need of an update.
The purpose of the committee is to conduct research and create a proposal for the guild meeting on a renewed version of the guild’s badge guidelines.
But why?
In short, to make it easier for the future members to reward guild members for their merits. The current criteria in the badge guidelines are rather vague, and honour badge committees often struggle to interpret what exactly constitutes “particularly exemplary and meritorious long-term contributions to the objectives of the guild.” Due to the lack of clear instructions, the criteria for awarding badges vary from year to year, depending on how each year’s honour badge committee interprets them.
Updating the visual design of the guild’s badges is also underway, and the organizers responsible for that could be conveniently placed under our committee’s umbrella.
We want to map what updates the guild’s badge guidelines need in order to serve our members fairly in the future as well.
And what about the structure of the working group?
Everyone interested is warmly welcome to join and help polish the guild’s badge guidelines to “mint”. The working group will also work closely with the current board. Non-ivory tower guild members’ opinions will be taken into account through various surveys. In the end, the working group will present a proposal, which guild members will either approve or reject at the guild meeting.
